As CEO of a surf hardware distribution business, Ben has gained exposure to global manufacturing systems, materials, supply chains, and market demand. This has enabled him to identify inefficiencies in traditional composite manufacturing and recognise a clear gap: the industry lacked a solution that could deliver high-performance while also being scalable and environmentally responsible.
Ben has witnessed the repercussions of the manufacturing and sale of huge quantities of traditional foam composites, such as surfbaords - particularly their short lifespan and environmental impact. Ben felt responsible for the problem and pledged to find a solution.
